Cannot enter 802.1x EAP WiFi password less than 5 characters

Hello Boox Community,

I’m trying to connect a Max2 Pro to my school’s network, which has assigned each student a 4-character password. However, the “Connect” button on the Max2 remains grayed out for any password less than 5 characters long.

I know that the password is correct because my laptop and phone both connect fine.

How can I get around this? I would certainly change the password to something much longer, but they’re auto-generated and afaik cannot be changed.
