my MAX2 Pro wants to install a firmeware version 3.0!? (see image)
Is this right? The Boox website says that the latest version is 2.3.1?
When I try to update, the download fails all the time…?

Don’t update. I allowed my Max2 Pro to update and now the NeoReader V3.0 is unusable. When I try to open a PDF file that used to be open-able by NeoReader, it shows “Error”. This renders the device useless.
I’m on the firmware mentioned. Note taking has become a lot more responsive. I don’t use NeoReader as often but it does seem to open. Perhaps try to reset the device?
