Fixed charge screen

I went away for two weeks over christmas and came back to my note pro showing the charge screen to plug the device in. I’ve done so - overnight, in fact. But the screen remains the same. I’ve tried other chargers and can’t seem to switch the device on at all. Any advice please?

It’s most likely the aging battery problem.

So you didn’t have to send the device to onyx for support?
Is it easy to open and swap the new battery?

Yes, I did it by myself.
It is easy to open, but do not forget about 2 screws at first.
Swap is not so easy, because I have not soldering iron, the new battery has not a connector, just wires. So I just twisted and isolated wires, I am waiting for ordered connectors now and I’ll use terminals (clamps) to connect wires. And the old battery was glued firmly, I used alcohol to take it off.
