I’m considering the purchase of a Boox device (possibly a Note 2 or a Max 3) mostly for music use but as a secondary role I would want to read Japanese books with it. What is the level of Japanese support in the built-in book reader? Is there support for furigana/ruby (the overscript giving pronunciation of kanji)? Does it support vertical writing (most novels and fiction is written that way in Japanese)? Right to left page turns (Japanese text lines are vertical and flow right to left)? How about Japanese/English dictionaries? EPUB3 can have this information - can the Boox reader app use it?
