I have been trying to organize my pdf documents by writing a markdown file with links to the pdf files locally stored on my boox max 3. Something really basic, just a markdown or html file in the same folder as the documents, containing an index.

I have been converting the markdown to html as the boox reader does not seem to recognize markdown files.
But even when opening html files, the links do not seem to work. The reader can follow internal links within the same html document, but does not do anything when the url points to a different file (pdf or html).

Is this a bug? Or perhaps a missing feature?

If this device supported markdown, I’d be in heaven.

I’m pretty sure they do wonky stuff when dealing with urls. They use their own internal logic to link to them, rather than doing the traditional way of using Android intent handlers
