None of my writing shows up

Hey guys,

I’m having a lot of trouble with my onyx boox note. I’m starting to think that I have a defective device. I am trying to write and take notes on it but nothing shows up. Including writing in the note app of trying to use the neoreader app to take notes on the pdfs
