PDF highlighting height

#1

Hi all,

I’m using Nova pro with firmware 2.1.1. I’ve seen that the height of the black or grey highlights adapts closely to the precise height of the characters in each single line, so that if there are no characters with “descendent elements” (like j, p, q, etc.) and/or “ascendent elements” (like i, k, l, etc.) the highlight is thinner in vertical than in the lines in which those characters are present. Adobe Acrobat Reader and other software uses the same highlight height for every line, in spite of the characters contained in it. My question is: is this a bug or a choice of the developers? Will it be changed in the future?

Thanks.
