Sleep mode behavior with cover lid

Using my Boox Note for a couple of weeks I realized that the sleep mode behavior of the device related to the cover (lid open/close) is somewhat a bit off.

  • It seems too sensible, thus waking up the device when the lid is only moved slightly.
  • Also, when reading with the lid at the back of the device, the latter sometimes goes into sleep mode when the lid is moved a bit (still on the backside).

I wonder: Do others experience the same issue? And: Can the respective threshold be changed so the behavior is more apt for everyday use?

As a further suggestion: Is it possible to decouple the sleep mode initiated by the power button from that of the cover lid? It would kind of be nice to be able to put the device to sleep, knowing that it won’t wake up while being carried around…

Dear, thank you very much for your kind suggestion, I will forward it to our R&D.

Had the same problem. It took half an hour to realize why it always goes to sleep mode, so I use another case right now.
