There are some press articles about Google restricting some not certified android devices from accessing google services and google play store. Articles like that:
especially mentions Onyx devices to be affected.
Despite of that so far I had no problem accessing google play store, but now google ask me for “update google play services”. Will it still work after the update?
What is the status of this “issue”?
Working flawless, that guy doesn’t even know what he is talking about.
updating play services is necessary to continue accessing the store and it updates frequently on any device
I updated and have no problens using google play/store.
