I just noticed that firmware 3.0 has been release for the original note. Can anyone confirm whether there’s been an Android version upgrade with this update? Any other impressions? Is it stable?
I got the update a few days ago and did the update via the normal settings menu, the update took about 15minutes for me and as far as I can tell it is stable. The android version is still 6.0.
Thanks for the report. I guess they still haven’t followed through on Android 9. I’m not particularly concerned, just curious.
I would like to have Android 9.0 just because the “transparent screensaver” option. The Onyx feedback support answered that it is only available for Android 9.0.
