Can't upgrade - package verify failed

I downloaded package

https :// www.boox.com / downloads/

Applicable model: C67ml Carta
BOOX C67ml Carta V1.8.2

Downloaded, verified check sum, the file can unzip no problem. Transfered to the device to root folder and removed SD card. Trued to start upgrade, the process starts, it says copying the file and then at the end it gives error message:

“package verify failed”

I see many people have similar problem.

Dear, could you try the factory reset first as below steps: Settings/ External/ Privacy/ Factory Reset? Pls try to upgrade the firmware after that.

it’s possible your device is china version, try download the package from chinese site:
http://cn.boox.com/index.php/zh/2017-10-26-08-28-01/2017-10-21-07-30-01/2-uncategorised/17-c67
