Is it possible to extract the highlighted text in PDF and ebook files? What I mean is to obtain a .txt file (or similar) which contains only the highlighted text.

Yes, please open the PDF files first, then tap on the middle of the screen to pop up the Setting menu, then go to TOC-Highlighted text to export them.
