Firmware 2.3 ist available for download now when you swicth language to Chinese. In English it doesn’t appear yet (as for May 2nd). You can switch back to English after the update, of course.
It’s still running Android 6 but there are some improvements. Most noticeable: the Navigation Ball has 9 options now, can be mostly hidden and can be made more transparent. I find it very useful now to use it for next and previous page function in 3rd party apps. This way there’s no need to scroll through browsers and the like anymore.
And Neoreader allows two books/documents in split screen mode.
